So, where do we start? Choosing a brand to be the very first blog is a big task, But where better to start than the brain.
Introducing Noggin, the brain people on a mission to educate and elevate the brain health category. Our marketing executive, Alex, spoke with husband and wife duo Mick & Clara Doran, about their exciting, new brand.
Dr Clara Doran, described as "The Chief Nogg" is very much the driving force and passion behind the brand and bringing it to those in need. Clara has 20 years of experience as a medical doctor, primarily in General Practice where she has learned the importance of listening to her patients and providing individualized care.
Clara's desire to help others and educate around brain health, comes from her own direct experience, in 2014, Clara was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, an incurable degenerative neurological condition, after the birth of her son. This combined with seeing the effects of other diseases and condiitons in her family inspired her to look into the complicated world of our brains to see if and how she could help herself, her loved ones, and her patients.
In her free time, she remains passionate about brain health and can always be found reading up on the latest research. As well as, spending time with her husband and 8 year old son, anywhere from practicing play lines to training his skills in a variety of sports.
